DESCRIPTION:WSU Vancouver will host a free public presentation Thursday\, April 6\, on preparing for the aftereffects of a major earthquake. The one-hour presentation will be offered at two times\, 3 and 6:30 p.m.\, in the Dengerink Administration Building\, Room 110. Raffle prizes will be given out. \nScott Johnson\, emergency management division manager for Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency\, will explain what to expect–and how to prepare–for a Cascadia Subduction Zone earthquake\, A.K.A. “The Big One.” \nGuests will be able to browse emergency products and learn about local resources in Dengerink Administration Building\, Rooms 129 and 130. from 2 to 7 p.m. Resource vendors include American Red Cross\, Big Blok\, Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency\, Emergency Essentials and Thrive Life. For more information\, click here or contact Anne O’Neill at aeoneill@wsu.edu.
