DESCRIPTION:Historic Ambulance Replica Coming to the O.O. Howard House \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThursday\, June 27\, 2024 \n6:30 pm – 8 pm \nGeneral O.O. Howard House \n750 Anderson St.\, Vancouver \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStop by the O.O. Howard House and learn more about WWI-era Army field medicine\, courtesy of the Vancouver Barracks Military Association (VBMA).The group will display their replica WWI-era military ambulance along with other artifacts and photographs. Drawing on historic images and plans VBMA volunteers built the ambulance around the frame of a Model T. The more than two-year project was completed in 2017. VBMA volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the history of the barracks\, the oldest American military installation in the Pacific Northwest.
